USA beenden Zollbefreiung für chinesische Graphitanoden
Das Büro des Handelsbeauftragten der Vereinigten Staaten (USTR) kündigte eine weitere Verlängerung aller Zollbefreiungen nach Abschnitt 301 für 352 chinesische Importe und 77 pandemiebedingte Kategorien bis zum 14. Juni an. Danach wird die Zollbefreiung für Graphitanoden aus China nicht verlängert, teilte der USTR am Freitag, den 24. Mai mit.

Danke Dir, solche Nachrichten machen zumindest wieder Mut. Habe die Hoffnung das die EU zeitnah nachzieht noch nicht ganz aufgegeben, denn das sie es machen müssen, steht außer Frage. Für Investoren ein deutliches Signal wo die Reise hingeht.

Auch wenn es nur 40 Tonnen sind, so ist es aber ein Nachweis ihrer technischen Fähigkeit ein solches Mikro-Produkt herzustellen. Gutes Argument wenn es um die US-Fördermittel geht. So mein Fazit aus den Kommentaren bei Hotcopper.

As such, the Final Regulations allow EV manufacturers to exclude impracticable-to-trace materials from FEOC compliance obligations through the end of 2026, provided that the EV manufacturer submits a report to Treasury detailing how it will comply with the FEOC restriction once the transition period expires. The FEOC battery component exclusion took effect this year, while the critical-minerals exclusion takes effect in 2025

The Company wishes to provide
clarification and further information in respect of some of the statements made in
the Zavalievsky Graphite Update.
The Company announced that “Zavalievsky Graphite (“ZG”) has received a firm
order for 40 tonnes of high purity (99.5%) micronised graphite at a price exceeding
€2,700 per tonne”. The Company wishes to clarify that proceeds from the sale are
not going to the Company but to ZG. Per the advice from our auditors and under
the requirements of IFRS, ZG revenues are not consolidated into Volt’s balance
sheet or profit and loss or cashflow reporting.

Volt considers the expansion of ZG’s high-purity graphite production and sales in Europe and other markets as a key opportunity to generate positive cash flow in the current graphite market.
